That really does look nice. I don't think I could do a paint job like that...

would there be anything wrong with painting the front feathers, and using real ones on the back of the wing, just to make it look even more authentic? I don't know what effect it would have on the flying...

If you read all the building blogs and the original review back in 1993 there were some issues with flight performance. The guy was goining to make a mark 2 but I can't find any link to this.

this is why I posted the question, the drawings from My Hobby Store might be the original version, I don't know. If there the mark 2 then I will buy them. I hope in an open forum there may be a better version around?

I heard that the original version had a tendancy to fly south for the winter. I think they have fixed that now...
