It is with great regret that I have had to remove the ability for users to set up their own accounts/passwords on this forum.

This will not affect anyone who already has a username and password.

I'm just fed up with the amount of spam user accounts created, roughly 30 new accounts per day.

I have to then sift through them to see if they are genuine or not ! and I just don't have the time.

From now on, any genuine human beings that would like access to post on the forum please email me (webmaster at bmac) requesting access and supplying full details/password etc, and I will add you to the user list.

Please make the heading of the email clear.

EDIT : I've not now disabled registrations, I have however changed the auto confirmation code to a different type so hopefully the bots wont be able to work it out, probably some humans wont either ! especially if they are colour blind like me . . .

Well, i've finally given up and the user registrations are now permanently disabled, if you have a login you can still use it, any one who needs one will have to email me directly.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I just don't have the time to go through deleting all the spam accounts every day.
